On 23rd July 2024, a 10- member delegation from Namibia’s Standing Committee on Constitutional and Legal Affairs of the National Assembly paid a working visit to the Executive Director of the Economic and Organised Crime Office, Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah and her management team.

The visit formed part of efforts by the Namibian Parliament seeking to understand the operations of the Office and to see how best to integrate these into their own operations. Additionally to foster a collaborative relationship and explore potential areas for partnership and knowledge exchange.

In a presentation by COP MYT Addo-Danquah, she briefed the officials on the mandate of the Office and further stated the Office’s readiness to collaborate and lend guidance in areas where necessary.
